Emergency Power

Level Two Emergency Power training is a self-paced course that describes the various activities, roles, and responsibilities of the Temporary Emergency Power Mission. This training provides a detailed description of the duties of each PRT member, and the components of the mission. Those components will explain the key Federal, State, and contractor team members with whom Power PRT members will interact during the mission and describe the tools and support organizations utilized to execute the mission. The course concludes with a segment on electricity basics to be aware of to ensure PRT member safety during the mission.

In addition to the Level II training, in 2020 we launched a Just-In-Time (JIT) refresher training course for PRT members as they are preparing to deploy and execute a Temporary Emergency Power Mission.
