The Urban Search & Rescue Structural Collapse Technician: Structural Engineering Systems Training course builds on Structural Collapse awareness. This course will familiarize you with the materials of construction, basic structural systems and building characteristics, causes of collapse, collapse patterns, and the US&R strategy and structure size-up.

This training course consists of five modules that provide specific training on each important aspect of Structural Collapse Technician training. A Student Manual is also available. Students should take the assessment, which covers all five modules, after they have watched all presentations. A passing grade is 70 percent or higher.
